Private and public

Everything you create in Narratica is private, which means that only you can see it, and there is no way to make it public yet. We say it here, at the start, so that nobody spends a weekend on a world and finds out at the end.

What private means today

You can build worlds, characters, places and scenarios, and you can play your own scenarios yourself, where they behave exactly as the team's worlds in Discover do. Nobody else can see them, though: they do not appear in Discover, and there is no link you could send. Every world in Discover was made by our team.

What is coming Coming soon

Publishing is on the roadmap, after stories that grow as you play and a persona of your own. Once it is in the app, a world you mark as public will appear in Discover, and other people will be able to find it and play its scenarios. Later come profiles: people will be able to see what else you have made public, like it and follow you. We cannot say exactly when it will be there, but we are working on it. What to do in the meantime

Build anyway if building is the part you enjoy, because nothing you make now is throwaway: it stays on your account, and it will still be there when publishing arrives. If your reason for building is other people playing it, it is fair to wait, and Discord is where you will hear first when that changes.
