Narratica runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Install it and make an account.
Narratica is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, and there is no web version.
Before you can play, the app asks for a few things.
The first screen offers three ways in: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google or Continue with Email. With Apple or Google there is nothing more to fill in, while with an email address you set a password of at least 8 characters, with one capital letter and one number.
This step is only for an account made with an email address. The app sends you a link, and once you open it, the app knows the address is yours. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder and any other folder your mail app sorts into, such as Promotions or Updates, and if it is not there either, there is a button to resend it.
The app asks What should we call you?, and the nickname is the name it calls you by. It can be anything you like, from three to thirty-two characters.
A handle is your address in Narratica, like @lyra, and it has to be unique, so the app will tell you if someone has it already. It can use only lowercase letters, numbers, underscores and dots, from three to thirty-two characters.
The first time Home opens, a short welcome, Welcome to Narratica!, says the app is in early access, shows what you can do, and asks you to share feedback on Discord. Let's go closes it. See more on the page Your first story.
Your worlds and stories are saved to your account, so you can sign in on another device and find them there.
On the sign-in screen, Forgot password? sends a reset link to your email, and once you follow it and choose a new password you can sign in again. This is only for accounts made with an email address, because Apple and Google accounts reset their password with Apple or Google.
Both are in Settings, behind the gear on your profile.
Delete account removes your worlds, scenarios, characters, places and stories, and it cannot be undone
